How to convert a report from old to new server

1)Copy the report full file path of the report.

2)Login to server 192.168.1.12.Go to department SMT and paste the report path in the search box.

    Copy the file.

3)Login to 192.168.1.26,Select local disk (C).Paste the file in the Visual Studio 2013 Projects

4) Open Visual Studio 2013 based on the Report’s Business Unit.

5)Right Click on below and click ‘Add’ and select ‘Existing Item’.

6)Click on the View à Report Data (Ctrl + Alt + D). Delete the old data source and create a new data source.

7)  Open Visual Studio 2013 based on the Report’s Business Unit.

8)Create parameter (if required pass in parameter of the query)

9)Let’s try to preview the data. 

10)Right click the report name and click ‘Deploy’ to deploy the report to reporting service.

11)Open link http://int-crs/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx. (using server login and password)

12)Click on the Business Unit to check the report.

13) Schedule the report by click on the ‘arrow’ button. Click ‘Subscribe’.

14) Subscribe the report as below.

15)Click on Manage to double check the subscription

16) Add in report info into table TRPT_REPORT_MASTER.

17) Try to check the report whether it was completely convert to new server
